Week 16 Part B: Building Out Your Strategy

Image
In this week's blog, I will be talking about my rough draft content for next month's postings on all my social media.  When it comes to strategizing, I first think of what are my goals for next month? then how am I going to make that happen and why is it important to make the plan work? And lastly, who am I making my postings for. As for next month's goal, Christmas had just finished which means that parents are not really looking forward to going shopping since they just did a whole lot of shopping for their loved ones. As for the young ones, some parents don't have the time to go shopping or they don't know what their kids want for Christmas so they'll just end up giving them the good old "Christmas cha-ching!" My business can benefit from that since no parent would get this kind of shoe that I market to their kids unless their kids ask for it. This takes care of who my target audience is which are the young adults with their Christmas mone...

Week 9 Part B: Using Categories

In this week's blog, I will explain the different kinds of categories that I use to stay organized and reach my target audience.

In the shoe world, people have different tastes when it comes to shoes. I am more biased on Nike shoes and Jordan shoes since those are the brands I like. Although I might post other brands of shoes that have a lot of people talking about for interaction purposes. Some would like other brands such as Adidas, Puma, New Balance, and many more so I will try to include them in my postings to widen my followers and also get them interested in brands I have as a whole.

The categories that I will be using for the brands that I post often are different shoe types. What season do they release in? What kind of shoe is it? lows, mids, or highs? What brand is it? What kind of signature shoe is it? Is it a "hype shoe"? What fashion wear would go along with the shoes posted and etc.

There are a lot of categories that shoes fall in. It is just a matter of what kind of shoes they are and if there are a lot of people following them. The shoes I posted this week are categorized as the low variant of the Jordan 1, with a lot of different shoe colorways a lot of people can fall in love with the shoe design and the different colors associated with them which makes the shoe so popular.

  1. Hi Sean!
I like the categories of (mid, low, high) and the idea of adding other brands would expand your audience.

    Cheers!
