Week 16 Part B: Building Out Your Strategy

In this week's blog, I will be talking about my rough draft content for next month's postings on all my social media.  When it comes to strategizing, I first think of what are my goals for next month? then how am I going to make that happen and why is it important to make the plan work? And lastly, who am I making my postings for. As for next month's goal, Christmas had just finished which means that parents are not really looking forward to going shopping since they just did a whole lot of shopping for their loved ones. As for the young ones, some parents don't have the time to go shopping or they don't know what their kids want for Christmas so they'll just end up giving them the good old "Christmas cha-ching!" My business can benefit from that since no parent would get this kind of shoe that I market to their kids unless their kids ask for it. This takes care of who my target audience is which are the young adults with their Christmas mone...

Week 2 Part A: Communication Between Business & Consumer

Businesses now have more options to reach out through consumers, with the ever-evolving social media communication is key in order to have a successful business. Nowadays you can contact a business through any kind of website if they have an account that promotes their business. You can now message them through any 3rd party app such as yelp if you are interested in their services such as asking how much they charge for a particular product/service or just any questions in general. Having social media is beneficial to businesses this way because even if they are not getting customers through their door, they are getting people from their ads and accounts on any of their social media. This also benefits the consumers where if there was something wrong with their service you can reach out to them in so many ways through posting reviews, adding a post to their page, or in-person if you are wanting to get issues resolved faster.

I used to work at a waterpark called The Wave Waterpark located in Vista, CA. I worked there for 4 years and know just from working what the experience was for our guests. I used Yelp to find reviews for this place and as a former worker, I agree with most of the reviews. For the highest rated review, they mentioned the affordability of the place and being able to have fun with the family for $20 or even less if they use an app called Groupon for discounts. The admission itself was most of the positive reviews which help even out the bad ones. The worst review I have read talked about how it needs to renovate and especially the overpriced foods. As a worker, I agree our bathrooms can use a big-time renovation and as for our foods sometimes we buy $5 Zappy pizzas and sell them to customers for $5 a slice!

Overall the reviews that I have read for this place were true and are definitely helpful for the business and the potential customers. I don't usually leave reviews unless they ask me to do so, I would leave them honest feedback whether or not the service was good or not. I am the type to recommend the place if they are good or adequate to other people but not too fond of leaving reviews.

If the Wave Waterpark was my business on social media, I would address the negative reviews in a professional manner and give them a reason as to why the issue still persists and how we are working towards fixing the problem. I will pick a handful to respond to each review whether it is good or bad to show that my business cares for my customer's satisfaction.

There is this one restaurant called Stir Fresh located in San Diego that I would always go to if I am craving noodles. They make Mongolian noodles and are honestly the best noodles I have ever tried out of all the other Mongolian restaurants I have ever been in. I left a 5-star review saying how they are very consistent with their food and how the staff is very attentive and professional with their customers. If you are ever looking for a noodle spot try them out! You won't regret it!
